The Cars of The Future

I have researched many of the sources for  the energy that would propel cars down the road.  I have rated them according to the following:  Efficiency, potential cost, Environmentally green, personally convenient.

1. Petroleum ( ICE)=(internal combustion engine) a. Efficiency- 15% to 20% - only 20% of the fuel used is burned and less than that makes it to the wheels. b. Cost- the price is constantly rising. For the fuel, repair maintenance of the car, that is made to last at the most 100,000 miles.  c. Bad for the environment .  d. However is personally convenient to buy.

2. Ethanol for (ICE)

- less efficient
- Cost – Higher than petroleum
- Great for the environment, water vapor comes out the exhaust
- Not easy to buy or convert

3.  Hydrogen for (ICE)

- Efficiency is very good
- Cost is high to convert
- Excellent for environment
- Hard to find a location to buy fuel and to convert

4. Hybrid car (Electric and Petroleum, essentially two sources of power in one car)

- Very efficient (more miles to the gallon.)
- Cost- Pay more for the car and the Petroleum companies will just raise the price to sell you less gas for more money
- Better but not best for the environment
- Easy to get from any dealer.

5. All electric cars run by batteries

- Very efficient however it takes 6 to 8 hours to recharge from home
- Cost to purchase can be very high or nominal depending on how far you want to travel per charge.  – - Best for environment
- Not very convenient for long trips more than 40 to 100 miles. However if you can afford it, you can buy one that will go 300 miles to a charge.

6. All electric car that will run by capacitors not on batteries.(The future) researchers and inventors have patents on these devices. This is the most efficient of all the energy sources. (lighter weight because there are no batteries, and the capacitors last for the lifetime of the car.  Full charge in less than 10 minutes to travel more than 300 miles. The cost to make them is very cheap compared to batteries.

Oil Reserves in The U.S.

It seems that we are really not short of oil. Here’s an astonishing read…

About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and one of the Forbes Bros. was a guest. The host said to Forbes, “I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer; How much oil does the U. S. have in the ground?” Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, “More than all the Middle East  put together.”  The Bakken is the larges domestic oil discovery since Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable…at $107 a barrel, we’re looking a resource base worth more than 5.3 trillion dollars.  Because of the new technological breakthrough in oil  has opened  the Bakken’s massive reserves…and now we have access up to 500 billion barrels. Because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $ 16 per barrel. (That is if the oil companies don’t get greedy).

U.S. Oil Discovery (LARGEST RESERVE IN THE WORLD). See: Stansberry Report online-4/20/2006: Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. IT IS MORE THAN 2 TRILLION BARRELS.

The result of this is, Oil companies Propaganda.  That is they treat the people like mushrooms. They keep us in the dark and feed us B.S.
