The Honda EV Electric Car

Your comments in my previous article was well taken and I apologize for what seems to be dumb and dumber remarks.

I am 75 years old and have been around the block a few times. Like I said it is my theory and purely conjecture.

It sounds like the comments come from people that are locked in or in love with the oil companies and/or the car manufacturers. If you have not seen the popular video “Who Killed the Electric car?”, you should do so.

If the oil companies rely on the car manufactures for the major consumption of their products wouldn’t it make sense for the oil companies, with all their profits, to buy stock for their future protection.

Also Check out the link titled About the Honda EV Electric Car. Go to  http://www.hondaev.org/acar.html    Read about GM  in 1994 and what they did trying to suppress the batteries. Also how GM sold the patent rights needed for the EV-95 batteries to Texaco. Why did they do this?                                                                   Now am I dumb and dumber?

The suggestion of the solution of taxation of the oil companies which is the amount of profits from all of the oil companies. My decimal is not in the wrong place. If you doubt this, look it up on the Internet and add it up. That is if you know how!                    On Taxing the oil companies, go to internet:  “Republicans vote down raising taxes on oil companies”. Tells about the large profits they make.

One Response to “The Honda EV Electric Car”

  1. Tom C Gray Says:

I love to hear the stupid claims about “suppressing batteries.” The last moron was some jerk who claimed that Chevron bought the patents and suppressed the technology. NiMH batteries are crap – no one except GM, Toyota and Hnda ever used them for a battery-only electric car and for very good reasons – they were ungodly expensive – the EV-1, Honda EV and Toyota Rav4 battery packs cost over $24,000 and lasted a mere 5 years. Since Chevron took over the patents the bateries prices have dropped 75% and are in more than 2 million hybriod cars.
No automotive player in the world has since used these crappy batteries for any electric cars they have built.
Yet jerks like you are claiming suppression. Why don’t you quit lying and
stop being such a brainless boob?
